Our football analytics camp is offered in St. Augustine, Florida.  It consists of 3-hours per day for 5 consecutive days in the summer.  The camp offers a variety of learning possibilities.  Although the content is centered around football analytics (statistics used in football to help make meaningful decisions on and off the field), the structure of the program teaches mathematical/statistical concepts central to SAT/ACT testing, introduces data science concepts, and provides computer/data skills in both Excel and Tableau (Visualization Software).  Students will work in groups and individually, with feedback provided by the developer of the camp, Dr. Rodney J. Paul.  Students will gain valuable experience in working with and visualizing data, in addition to improving their skills working with others in small groups and in public speaking.  Actual NFL and NCAA football data are used throughout the week, highlighting the key statistics used by analysts of professional and college football.
